When Xiw and Tso Plig on the same day
When the two events Xiw and Tso Plig happen in one day
Xiw is done first to completion (tso xiw) before the Tso Plig event begins
These are essentially two different events.
Xiw event there is no usage of the hmong drum or qeej
Everything is done with the board and upside down bowl
Where it says 3 txoj cawv.
It means you need to pour a cup of beer/wind when you do this part. It is done 3 times and the deceased person must except it 3 times. Before moving onto the next phrase

If it says 7 or 9 txoj cawv then you do it to the number 7 or 9
Once you have completed all 3, 7 or 9 txoj cawv, you not longer need to hold the beer/wine

Go to the home and bring with you the hmong crossbow and one of the sons must accompany you

After the chicken is cooked
First cut the chicken in half top half from bottom half
the chickens right and left side not your right and left side

From the bottom part, cut the legs away from the back bone area

This is where you say it for the 5 plates of chicken meat
You need a bowl of the chicken broth
You wet the txiwm kuam each time before you say the phrases for each plate
You also wip the kuam so some of the broth liquid come off the kuam in front of the plate
1st plate with the head is for deceased
