You can always cut it. If you get the short one. Its more diffucult to add. |

You want to use the drum someone raised (nruag yug) not the drum someone made (nruag zoj).
The raised one is usually one you can hit from both sides. The made one you can only hit on one side.
When you barrow a drum from someone, remember that you are to never let it touch the floor.
If you use the made drum, remember that the side that you hit must face the deceased person
